Yesterday I went swimming and by the time we got home all I wanted to do was go to bed and put an ice bag to my backside… Today I chatted with my online friends and did a load of laundry. The Nurse came to see me this morning. I went to see Dr. Wilbanks about the pain in my lower back. He did a x-ray and didn’t like what he was seeing. So he ordered a MRI for me and gave me a prescription for pain pills… We ran some errands and got groceries at Aldi’s… I am watching the floods on television. Happy Birthday America!!! We went to David and Lori’s this afternoon. It was rainy but we celebrated Lori’s birthday anyhow. I have never seen so much food before and I am glad none of you could see my desert plate. It was sinful… I gave Lori her Lava Lava and she loved it… We saw the end of the fireworks in Piedmont and they are shooting them off all over our neighborhood. It sure is making my dogs nervous… I am sitting on that special heating pad that I have that water runs through it. I can’t think of the name of it. I go from ice to this. I am so confused on what day it is and the holiday isn’t even here yet. Today seems like it should be Saturday… The Nurse’s Aide called me and said she was on her way to see me. I was outside feeding and deadheading roses when she showed up in my back yard. I had completely forgot that she had called me… I fixed lunch, chatted with friends, did laundry, and helped with supper.
